Crossover Stair

One of the defining features of ErectaStep is that it's a single system that fits nearly any stair or platform use case. This photo from a natural gas facility illustrations ErectaStep's range perfectly. Not only are there two crossovers pictured, but we also have a work platform for access to a vent in the back of the facility.

If this plant changes, these components can disassembled and be re-purposed with a socket and open ended wrench. Common bolt holes across components allows the client to order any add on components at any time.

Complex Crossover Stair

ErectaStep's modularity makes it a perfect fit, in even the most complex access situations. This crossover for a high volume bottling plant combined a stair with intermediate landing to an L shaped crossover configuration.

Crossover Stair

These two crossovers stair configurations for a natural gas holding facility were installed and functional just days after the order was placed. Simple steel channel footings provide a fast install, low cost method of installation over gravel. ErectaStep’s aluminum construction and powder coating ensure a long service life, even outdoor applications.

The eight stair configuration provided 15 feet of horizontal clearance and 6’3” of vertical clearance using two platforms, four handrails, and two eight step stair units. The smaller crossover stairway consists of two four step stair units, one platform and two handrails. This crossover provided 9 feet of horizontal clearance and 3’3” of vertical clearance over a spill containment berm.

Access Stairs

This mobile exhibit housed in a converted semi truck required safe and sturdy access for visitors in a unit that could be quickly disassembled for storage. Erectastep’s sturdy design and construction stole the show by helping guests exit stage right.

The configuration consists of a four step stair unit, one platform two handrails and a single support tower and provided a ground to platform surface height of 45”.

Crossover Stairway

These crossover stair configurations for an electric company illustrate a turnkey solution to a common problem: safe access over pipes and berms. ErectaStep’s modular stair and platform solution met this customer’s needs with in-stock parts that shipped immediately and met all OSHA regulations.

The configuration at left provided 7’6” of horizontal clearance and 30” of vertical clearance with two platforms, four handrails and two three stair step units. Additional configurations consisted two handrails and two step stair units on either side of a single platform providing a clearance profile of 6’ long and 21” high.

Industrial Raised Walkway

This raised walkway installation utilizes 30 platform sections, 55 hand rails, 4 three step stair units and eleven support towers to provide safe passage over multiple obstructions. As all parts are in stock, the ErectaStep system easily met the project’s tight construction deadlines.

The installation provides 30” of vertical clearance over it’s lengthy span, with OSHA compliant safety yellow powder coated hand rails along the entire length.
